Ian is the Executive Director of Gilbert Luxury Brands, he is based in Dubai and brings with him over 30 years of industrial design expertise and entrepreneurial know-how.

A dynamic entrepreneur and a passionate industrial design professional, Ian has built a reputation for innovative ideas, from conception to commercial production, specialized product development, manufacturing, sourcing, logistics, project management, international sales, and stakeholder management.

He began identifying solutions for challenging design complexities as early as his first commercial company in Hong Kong in 1991.

Ian holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Degree in Industrial Design from Leeds University, UK.
